SUMNER DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
Mr G. A. Alexander presided over a meeting of the Jubilee Committee of the Sumner District High School. The sub-committee reported that tho following would assist at the thanksgiving service on Sunday afternoon:' Rev, E. 0. W. PoWellj Rev. Win. McAra, and Rev. G. R. Peterson.The Conversazione Committee reported that all old scholars were expected to attend; that Misses Millleent Jennings, B. Brounfc, N. Bowden, E. Whitfield, and Messrs T. Charters and H. Hobbs had promised t« astist, and that the birthday cake would be cut by the oldest scholar present. Arrangements hid been made by an old scholar for the Exhibi> tion closing speeches to he heard by -wireless. The Decorations Committee of old scholars reported that novelties were bcins arranged for in the Town Ball scheme. The Sports Commltteo reported that a flno nrogrurame would be ready for Saturday, and that permission had been granted for a collection to be taken at the gate.
