LE BON'S BAY ROAD BOARD.

At the ordinary meeting of the Board those present were: Meeßrs W. G. Dalglish (chairman), A. A. Macphail, G. Mould, and J. Guerney. < ■ Some time ago lbs Board had decided ,to form a crossing instead of a culvert, and to metal the approaches on each side. When a start was made it was found that a sharp dip could not be avoided. Last meeting Mr O. Thelning. waited on the Board and offered to give his own labour free, and the use of a horse and plough if the Board could see ita way to substitute a culvert for the crossing.' It was decided to erect a culvert on the lines suggested by Mr Mould, and that it be left in his hands to instruct the foreman as to what, had to be done, also to stop the breaking of any more metal on the cross road, and to' instruct the foreman to put in culverts on this road where required.' Tho clerk was Instructed to write to the foreman instructing him to raie In the metal on Dawber's road towards D. Mora's house and to remove screenings from the water channel by Mr J. Guerney's yards cn the main road.
