BEAUTIFYING THE CITY.
MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. The executive of the Beautifying Association met yesterday afternoon. Present: Messrs Dudley Dobson (chairman),. R. B. Owen, W. Webb, and Dr. O. Chilton. It was decided that the Mayor be written to requesting that, he call a conference of delegates from various bodies interested in tbwn-planning along the lines suggested by Mr Hurst Seager in his address which was reported in Thursday's issue of ''The Press." With regard to "The Bricks" site, it was agreed that the work of beautifying this site be put in hand, and the cairn erected to the satisfaction of the Drainage Board's engineer. N Cinceroing the Antigua street waterfall, the Drainage Board wrote giving its approval to the completion of the fall.
