Anzac Day Service. The annual Anzac Day services will be held at the Cenotaph on Sunday, at 3 p.m. During the service the intersecting streets within 100 yards of the Cenotaph will be closed to all but pedestrian traffic. Vehicles arriving from tho Sumner side of tho hill will have to turn off at St. David street. Poppy Day. The Mayoress (Mrs F. E. Sutton) is inviting ladies to sell poppies in Lyttelton on Friday next. Tho proceeds are in nid of the Roturned Soldiers' Unemployment Fund. Dunedin Exhibition. Lyttelton residents who intend visiting tho Dunedin Exhibition on closing day, May Ist. and who are arriving back by the special week-ond train on the morning of Sunday, May 2nd, are asked to hand in their names to the Mayor (Mr F. E. Sutton) beforo Monday next. Tho Railway Department has notified the Mayor that should the number of people from Lyttelton bo sufficient, tho Department will run'n special train, consisting of one or two cars, to leave Christchurch for Lyttelton on the arrival of the special wcok-end train.
