TOY DOG AND CAT CLUB.
MEETING OF MEMBERS. A special meeting of the Christchurck Joy Dog and Cat Club (Inc.) was held at the Chamber of Commerce, Mr G. Biltcliff iu the chair. There was a. large attendance of members, and a 'ong business-sheet dealing with the coming show in May wrb considered. The secretary read correspondence dealing with the special prizes and judges, and reported that to date £25 12s had been presented as special prizes, and they were •till coming in freely. The following judge*' appointments were confirmed:—Dogs, Mr G. Biltcliff; cats, Mr A. G. Wilson; art needlework, Miss Bridgman (by consent of Messrs J. BalUctyne and Co.); and Mies Graham for the cookery. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr A. Lezard for his gift of a handsome ai'rer cup for the cookery section. Mr Biltcliff reported that the Choral Hall had been secured for the show, which will be held for two days, May 28th and 29th. r The sub-committee appointed to allot the special priMS for the sechedule, (submitted their retort, and a vote of thanKs was accorded them.
