j West Lyttelton School. The West Lyttelton School picnic will be held at Diamond Harbour on Thursday next. This afternoon the school swimming sports ■will be held at Corsair Bay. Plunket. Society. The usual monthly meeting of the Plunket Society was held in the Plunket rooms on Tuesday last, Mrs Gilmour presiding. The nurse's report for the month of February showed 255 visits to rooms (adults' 137, babies 101, older children 18), and 34 visits to homes. The recent jumble sale showed net proceeds £l7, and it was resolved that 4he grateful thanks of the Society be extended to all those who contributed to make it a success. ' The date of the annual meeting was fixed for April 14th, when speakers from OhristchuTch would be asked to attend. Details of the children's fancy dress gift party were discussed and arrangements put in hand for an interesting and novel function.
