CAR OVERTURNED.

OCCUPANTS ESCAPE INJURY. (FP.E 88 ASSOCIATION TILEGRAU.) ASFJURTON, March 7. A motor-car, driven by J. Heseltine, and another driven by- J. Trevor Thomas, collided opposite Walker street, Ashburton, on Friday evening. Heseltine was driving down Cameron street towards the town, and failed to see Thomas approaching him, with the result that Thomas's car struck the one being driven by Heseltine broadside on, and capsized it. Mrs Heseltine was thrown clear and escaped without injury, but Heseltine was pinned underneath the car. When the car was righted it was Heseltine had suffered no injury. Thomas also escaped without injury. Heseltine's car was badlv damaged.. The only damage sustained by Thomas's car was » bent front axle.
