CHRISTCHURCH PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY.

The annual general meeting of the Christchurch Photographic Society was held in room C, Y.M.C.A. buildings, on Wednesday evening, March 3rd, when j\lr T. "SV. Rows presided over an attendance, of twelve members. Tho annual report recorded a most successful year, and the balance-sheet showed tho Society to be in a sound linancial position, with no liabilities. Tho election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr T. W. Rowo (re-elected); vicepresidents, Miss M. Scott and Mr A. 3). Martin (re-elected); lion, auditor, Mr S. "\V. Perkins (re-elected); lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr L. \V. Haxsll (re-elected); hon. librarian. Mr K. L; Stace; committee, Miss A. M. Cross, Messrs F. L. Casbolt, T. F. Lango, F. J. Hulston (re-elected); F. C. Fisher (re-elected), 13. V. Barrett (reelected). Tho' president reported that-ths-syllabus for tho season 192G was nearly completed, and copies would bo printed shortly. , Owing to their being insufficient entrieß, the champion picture for the year competition was not, held. It was decided to open tho year on Tues; clay evening, when a lecture 1 (illustrated) will bo given by Mr T. W. Rowo on ."Enlarged Negatives."
