Won by ten yards, with five yards between second and third. . 100 Yards Backstroke Championship of...Australia—-Ena Stockley' (New Zealand) 1, Mealing (N.S.W.) 2, Venning (Queensland) 3. Time lis'2l 2-ss. 100 Yards Handicap Race —Vera Pawling, 3sec (N.S.W.) 1. She easily beat Ena Stockley (New Zealand), wno started from scratch. Time 69 4-os.
