NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
To-morrow evening, at Trinity Congregational Church, the Hon. L. M. Isitt will conduet the service. The choir will render a Christmas anthem and carols. On Monday evening a special chnrch meeting will be held to receive an important recommendation from the Pastoral Settlement Committee. Christmas fare aud Christmas presents will be on sale at a garden fete to be held this afternoon at Mr and Mrs H. D. Andrew's garden, 217 Armagh street, from 2.30 to 5.30 p.m. Games and competitions will be arranged, and the proceeds will be devoted, fo the Sk-JLuke's School Building Pond.
