REFRESHMENT PRICES REDUCED. (PSBSS ASSOCIATION TILIGEAM.) J>UJNJUUIN, December 15. Last night, which ended the fourth week of the Exhibition, the attendance had reached the wonderful total of 408,703, thus maintaining the average of 100,000 a -week, although the holiday crowds have not yet arrived. "I can only express surprise and delight at the wonderful attendance that has been recorded, despite the weather and the practically local crowds," gaid 3£r O. P. Hainsworth, general manager, when interviewed. He added that a phenomenal rush was anticipated during the Christmas season, ana the management was so confident that the crowds would exceed all previous totals that extra turnstiles were to be installed.

Reductions in prices at the quick lunch rooms and the restaurant were announced to-day. The tariff at the auick lunch rooms is now threepence below the corresponding piioes at tho railway refreshment rooms, and in tho restaurant the charges fo r morning and afternoon tea and supper have been reduced. Red and black colours of the Waitaki High School were conspicuous at the Exhibition to-day. Four hundred and forty boys and girls came down bv an early train this morning, and, after puttine in the day seeing as much as they could of the big show, returned linme this evening.
