Cygnet, Kaikoura, December 4th. ; i SHIPPING NOTES.. *Thc Cygnet is to sail to-night with cargo for Kaikoura and Wellington. She is due brick on Thursday night, and loads on. Friday for the same ports. The Kennedy is to load to-day for I?oxton direct. The Wairau is to sail this afternoon vith general cargo for Blenheim. The Wingatui is expected to sail this aiternoon'for Dunedin. The Wanaka arrived yesterday ifrom Timaru and loads to-day for Auckland. The Breeze, which arrived on Saturday from Wanganui, is to sail to-day. for Danedin and Timaru. The Calm arrived from Timaru yesterday, and is to load to-day for Wellington, and Wanganui. The Holmdale is to load on .Wednesday for Wellington and Wanganui. The Storm should be here on Wednesday to load for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Waihemo arrived yesterday from Wellington to discharge cargo from San Francisco. She is to sail later for Dunedin and New Plymouth., The lonic is to sail at noon to-day for Napier, her itinerary having been altered. She later proceeds to Auckland and Wellington to complete loading, and is to sail from the latter port on December 19th, for London. The Shaw, Savill Company steamer Maimoa was due at Auckland last night from Liverpool, ,and at Wellington on. December 3rd. The Shaw Savill Company advises thai the steamer Kia Ora, on route from Liverpool to Auckland, left Balboa on Wednesday afternoon, and is due at Auckland on, December 17th. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the steamer Trekieve left Montreal last Tuesday for Newport Newß, en. route to Auckland, Wellington, LytteKon, Dunedin, Sydney, and Melbourne. The vessel is due at Auckland in early January. A radio messase from the Bemnera was rereived by the New Zealand Shipping Company stating that the vessel will arrive at Auckland at daybreak this morning from London and Southampton. The Federal Company advises that the Norfolk sailed from Liverpool on November 24th, with general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Tho -vessel is due at Auckland «a January Ist. Advice has been received by the local agency of the Canadian Government Merchant Marine that the Canadian Britisher left Montreal at C a.m. on Tuesday with general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and I>uncdin. The vessel is due at Auckland on January 7th. The Renraera. due at Auckland to-day from London with cargo for Auckland and Wellington, will load at Lyttelton about December 18th.

The C. and D. motor ship Port Hobart arrived from Bluff on Saturday morning, and is loading Homeward cargo under the auspices of D. C. Turnbull and Company. She is to bo dispatched for Lyttelton to-day. Tho Wingatui should arrive from Lyttelton to-morrow, with northern cargo for discharge, and will sail this afternoon for Dunedin, returning on Saturday to load for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. t The Westport Coal Company advise that the Canopus will arrive from Westport tomorrow tO' dischargo a part cargo of coal, and will go on to, Lyttelton.
