At 7 o'clock this morning a bomb completely wrecked the Masterpiece Cinema, -where the .British war film, "Ypres," was bfing shown. Two policemen were shot endeavouring to frustrate the raiders, one being seriously wounded. ' The raiders arrived in a motor-car during a fog, when few people were astir. The men entered the cinema and deposited the bomb. When the> police intervened, the raiders abandoned the motor-car and fled, exchanging revolver shots. • The explosion was heard all over the city.
