FALLS DOWN STAIRS AND ESCAPES. (mz'ss issdcunoir tblzgram.; AUCKLAND, Nov-ember 21. A burglar entered a boarding-house ab Devonport at two o'clock this morning and was groping about a bedroom when he awoke one of the boarders. He thereupon bolted, tripped and fell down a stairway, awakening the whole of the occupants. The burglar got clear away wHh a gold watch and chain, a sovereign case and a wallet containing a few pounds in notes. ________^__ —
