FUNERAL OF THE LATE MR W. G. SLOAN.

- The funeral of the late Mr W. G. i Sloan, of Lyttelton .street, Spreydon. took place onrFriday, at the Sydenham. Cemetery: The Eev. C. C. Qldham, vicar of Halswell and Spreydon Church, ; conducted the service. The pall-bearers were Messrs S. and W. Nelson, cousins of the deceased, G. Thome, and J. F. Merrin. The chief mourners were three ' : 't sons and'a daughter,- Mr J. Sloan, and Mrs McLachlan, only brother and sister. h !The N.Z. Electric Steel Works, SockKi burn, was represented by Mr W. F. ' Saunders, the Addington school by Mr. 1 Clarke, headmaster, a-nd Mr W. T. Kennedy. Wreaths were sent by: St. Martins-Church.
