Viscount and' Viscountess Hastings, who recently caused a.sensation in England by their alleged secret marriage, arrived at Fremantlc by the Ormonde. Lord Hastings, interviewed, denied that the marriage was secret. He said the haste was due to business reasous. [Viscount Hastings, aged 24, heir to the Earl of Huntingdon, married Miss Cristina Casall at a London registry office on the eve of his departure for Australia to superintend his mother's property there. The bride is well known in artistic circles in London. The "Daily News" stated that Miss Casati is a daughter of the Marquis of Casati, Chamberlain to the King ot Italy. Viscount Hastings is nephew of the late Sir Samuel Wilson, whose estates his mother inherited.]
