Holland, has replied by way of a newspaper interview tp the statement of the Minister for Labour, the Hon. Furthermore, Mr Holland challenged Mr Anderson to say that as -Minister for Labour he was not in favour of the suggestion to reduce wages by 7s (id per week to provide family allowances as outlined in the* Labour Department's report. Mr Holland referred also to the Prime Minister's i*j>orted statement in favour of quinquennial Parliaments. Ho declared that the Labour Party would oppose such a proposal very strongly. His Party stood unswervingly for triennial Parliaments.
