At the monthly meeting of the Diocesan Council o£ CEJkT.S., Mr C. H. Clibbcrn. presided. The special committee reported that all arrangements had been completed for the Labour Day service to be held in St. John's Church. The subject of the address was announced as "The Church and Industry." The Council appointed the chairman and the K?v. F. Dunnage delegates to the Dominion Council meeting to be held in Wellington in November. It was decided that a committee, consisting of the delegates and the Rev. J. F. Conrsey, be empowered to draw up a provisional programme for the annual conference, to be hold in Christchurch in May, 1926, for submission to the Dominion Council meeting.
