PRIME MINISTER.
VISIT TO SOUTH ISLAND. The Prime Minister, the Hon. J. G. Coates, "will arrive in Christchurch from Wellington this morning and will stay a few hours in town. At 11 a.m. Mr Coates will meet members of—the Canterbury divisional executive of tho Reform Party, and also the candidates standing for Canterbury seats in the Reform interests. Mr Coates will leave about noon by motor for Oamaru, where he is to deliver a political address this evening. (PEESS iSSOCIATIOS TELBO&AH.) WELLINGTON, October 7. In addition to delivering an address at Oamaru on Thursday, the Prime Minister has arranged to speak at Tcmuka on Friday, Eiverton on Saturday, and Invercargill on Monday.
