ST. MARTINS RESIDENTS' ASSOCIATION.
At the monthly meeting of the St. Martins Residents' Association, Mr Harvey presided. The City-Council wrote stating that nothing could be done regarding the formation and channelling on the City side of Hills road until the drain had been piped and filled in. It was decided that Messrs Harvey Young, Marquet, Evans, and Holland wait on the Works Committee, and that the Drainage Board be asked to state the best method of improving the drain. Regarding the site for the dressing-shed in the Waltham Park. Messrs Harvey and Marquet were appointed to meet the Council's representatives. Messrs Young and Holland were appointed delegates to a meeting to discuss tramway matters. , The Citr Council's attention is to be drawn to "the state of the footpaths in St. Martins. , . ~ •It was agreed that a letter he sent to the Heathcote County Council, asking it to erect an obstruction on the track uu the Huntshury Hill, so as to stop motor-cyclists from using it. - '
