PICTURE "HOUSES. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. The headiiner on the current programme at Kverybody's Theatre is "Keno." a tale of drama and comedy. The cast is exceptionally good, and is headed by Carrr.el My»rs. lleler.e Chadwick. Kathleen Key. Lew Cody. George Walsh, and Dale Fuller. The supporting picture, a Paramount production. ••Kniptv Hearts." starring Clara Bow. is a domestic story that makes a powerful im-prc>s-:-".i. Good' emotional acting i« relieved b'-- Charles .Murray's infectious foolery. QUEEN'S THEATRE. The two main features a! the Queen's Theatre this week are "In Love with Love." and "The Grey Dawn." The first picture tells of a pretty modern girl. gay. enthusiastic for the good things of life, attractive, ami entire!*' unworried by Jiangs of conscience. But she finally mee»s a man with whom she fails in love and is surprised when he shows no interest in her. How she wins his heart makes a good story. "Grey Dawn." the second attraction, was taken from the novel of the same name by the popular author. Stewart Edward White. It is a tale of the earlv days of California, and is full of thrills and fast-moving action. LIBERTY THEATRE. From both an entertainment and educational point of view, "ficwi's Last Stand." now being screened at the Liberty Theatre, is an excellent picture. It is founded on the tine storv of the last heroic stand made by Kou-i and his small band of warriors and women. It tells of the great fight put up by the Natives in the Waikato against the advance of the pakeha. ''.Masters of lien.'' a drama of the sea. featuring Karl Williams, is the second attraction GRAND THEATRE. Afler a phenomenal run in Christchureh some months ago. "The Ten Commandments" is making a return visit to the Grand Theatre, and is drawing large crowds. It is considered by many people to be the. greatest picture yet, made, and there is ample justification for that opinion. As a matter of fact the film has created new records wherever ,<it has been shown, whether ♦n the Continent, in America Australia, the East, and now New Zealand. fMatinces are being held daily. , GREATER CRYSTAL PALACE. The comedy in "Decameron Nights," now leading the film at Greater Crystal Palace, has the (rue Boccaccio savour. It contains the thread of the story of Alatiel and Prince Saladin. true lovers separated by sea and circumstance, and there are also drawn in the tales of Riceiardo and A'olante, the faithless merry couple, of the true Crusader Loretto. and the chaste wife Teodora. "The Burning Trail" is a drama of the fued between cattlemen and sheepmen in one of the Western States of U.S.A.
STRAND THEATRE. "Head Winds" : s the principal feature on the current bill at the Strand Theatre. House Peters leads the cast. The story is one of the. sea,- and a stirring plot is thick with highly dramatic, and interesting incidents. The role of Antonio Moreno in the second picture is that of a- dashing, young American army officer in Paris, and the story unfolds his love for the petite maid of a Parisian stage star.
