BRITISH-ISRAEL ASSOCIATION.

The monthly meeting of the Christchurch British-Israel Association, which was held on Tuesday; evening;, was well attended. Mr W. T. Vaughan gave a lecture, illustrated with lantern slides, on the Great Pyramid of Gisseh. He dealt at length with the symbolism of its passage system and chambers, and etated that it was built with the definite purpose of transmitting a warning and a messago to eomo future civilisation, which would be ablo to understand and appreciate its message. On the motion of Mr Hooper, seconded by Mr Hodge, and supported by the Rev. T. Fee, the lecturer was accorded a hearty "vote of thanks. The Eev. P. H. Pritchett occupied the chair.
