Entries for the Amberley Breeders' Association's Silver Jubilee Show, to be held on Friday, October 30th, close with the secretary, Mr V. J. Rhodes, on Wednosday, October 21st. Mr H. Holland, Reform candidate for Christchurch North, will address the electors in the Rugby street Hall to-morrow night. Mr Buddo, National candidate in tho Kaiapoi electorate, will address the electors in the Darfield Hall tonight, Waikuku Hall to-morrow night, and the Ohoka Hall on Friday night. A meeting of ratepayers in the Waimairi County will bo held to-morrow night in the New Brighton Racecourse Pavilion. The programme for the East Christehtrcb School Jubilee celebrations is advertised. The annual meeting of the Omihi A.cateur Sports Club will be held on Labour Day. A dance will bt held in tho Scottish Society's Hall on Friday night. A meeting of Reform support ?rs of the Avon district will be held in tho Cbamtfr 0£ Commerce Hall on Friday night. Mr H. T. Armstrong, M.P., L*honr candidate for Christchurch East, will addrets a meeting in the Waltham School to-night. The forty-fourth annual meeting of shareholders of "the New Zealand Farmer;,' Coop. Association will lie held in the Choral Hall on, Saturday morning. A nesting of the Economic Socie.y of New Zealand and Australia will be held in tho Chamber of Commerce on Monday night. The annual meeting of the Beckenham Amateur Swimming Club will bo held in the school to-night. The Piccadilly Cabaret Club will hold a dance in Dixieland to-night.
