CHRISTCHURCH CLUB, "~— ( ■ i Tho forty-sixth annual report of. the Christchurch Amateur Swimming Club states: "Tho last season has been the most successful since the war—the club having had a complete •"comeback. The membership has increased, and the financial position is satisfying, considering the large amount expsndcd on trophies for club races. The membership increased from 51 to 79, consisting of 33 and 46 junior members. Tho Harris Cup for the club championship for a series of three races, was won by Baxter O'Neill, with J. N. Low (last year's winner) as rnnner-up. Mr R. Harker-Brown presented the a silver cup for annual competition fpr three handicap races in the Estuary, over distances of 220, 440, and 880 yards. The winner for the 1024-25 season was F- Daly, a junior member. Mr E. Robson's gold medal for a 440 yds swim in the Estuary, was won by R. HarkerBrown.
