George Gray, alias McCraig, described as an Australian breeder, was committed for trial on a charge of breaking and entering a house in Clarendon Place, Hyde Park. Gray appeared in Court on crutches. It is alleged that he made a cat burglar's climb to the balcony, and was found aslee D on a setteo on Sunday morning by a parlour-maid. When discovered Gray made a wild dash for the window, and jumped over the balcony railings, a height of 35 feet, into the area below, breaking a leg and four toes, and sustaining internal injuries.
