BENEFIT CONCERT.

On Saturday an excellent concert arranged by Mr Bernard Barker at the request of the West Spreydon Tennis and Debating Club for the benefit of indigent civilian consumptive patients and their dependents was held in the Jellicoe Hall. The performers who assisted in this beneficent object and contributed to the success of the evening were: Misses Kathleen Garven. Nellie Hayward, Eileen Twomey, Pauline Ellwood, Anita Graham, Myra Edmonds, and Mr Bernard Barker. The accompanist was Mr Claude Williams. As a result of the concert, the benefit funds of the club will receive an accession of at least £3O.
