J, SCARGILL CLUB. . The - ScargiU Miniature Eiflo Club chold tho first of • the season's-series ' of-weokly competition shoots on. Saturday evening. Thoro was a. good attendance' of members,and a number of new members were also 1 present. The committee have completed arrangements for warming and more efficiently lighting the premises leased by -them for.the season, and interest in the club has livened up considerably. Besides the ordinary' competitions of nino, weekly, shoots, a weekly, handicap' competition has' been started,- with a,'prize for each t shoot; The following are the. scores and results, shooting on the 20' vards range:—B. ■The weekly competition was won by' B. Coe in tho first shoot-off, with the score of 31. O. Johnson and L. Fairbajrji tied for the button- for the left rifle, and B.: Coe and S. Pannett for tho right button.' In the shoot-off tho buttons wero won for the week by 0. Johnson and B. Coe respectively.
