It was eventua'ly decided that the Board inspect the contracts and also the new section of the road, and confer with Messrs Armstrong Bros., rdjoining lard owners. The following tenders were accepted for metal contracts:—Brccberie's rordj SOOyda, B. Shfdbolt and J. A'dridge, 3s C-d per yard; La- ~ Bay road, 150 yds, D.
