A stop work meeting of the Westport Ooal Company's Millerton miners was held on Saturday morning over the installation.' of electric lighting in the mine, which means a reduction of \d in the tonnage rate. The increase was conditionally granted some time ago. The men carrying powder also entered into the dispute. It was decided to go to work, but when the men arrived at the mine the magasone was closed and.the mine.idle for-the day. It is understood that work will be resumed to-morrow. morning. : ■ . -
