♦ BRITISH SCHOONER AMONG CAPTURES. (BT CABLE— PBEtSS ASSOCIATION—COPTEIGHT) (EIUTEa's TELEQBAHS.) (Received December 26th, 5.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, December 25. The British schooner, Petara, with seven prisoners and: 6000 cases alleged to contain liquor, also three motorboats and twelve othci* prisoners were taken by Coastguards. The liquor is valued at more than 500,000 dollars. The Petara was captured- after a 40miles chase by two revenue cutters.
