LEAGUE OF NATIONS.
NEW ZEALAND OFFICIAL RETURNS.
One of the Now Zcalanders A is on the staff of the League of Nations at Genera, Mr J. V. Wilson, returned to Christchurch on Wednesday morning for a short holiday. Mr Wilson is secretary to Sir Eric Drummond, general secretary to the League, and is taking a rest before returning to hia duties at Geneva at Easter. He was educated at Canterbury College, and in January, 1919, after serving with the N.Z.E.F.. joined the staff of the Auckland University College. In the same year he went to Cambridge, where he took his degree in classics, and in 1921 was appointed to the staff of the International Labour Office. Ho 6tayed with tJiis Department till 1923, when be was transferred to the secretariat of the League of Nations. Since January of this year he has been a member of the personal staff of Sir Eric DTunimond.
Mr Wilson will probauly deliver lectures on the work of the League during bis stay in Christchurch. Another member of the League's staff at Geneva is Mr J. H. Chapman, formerly of the Customs Department, Wellington. Mr Chapman is attached to the economic section of the League.
