MUSTERERS AND DROVERS
AWARD IN MARLBOROUGH DISPUTE* (?R*..'3 ASSOCIATION TELBOEAM.) BLENHEIM, December 22. The Arbitration Court has issued an award in the Marlborough musterera' and drovers' dispute. The award will take effect on December 29th this year, and continue in force until November 24th, 1926. The wages clause provides that musterera shall not receive less than £4 2s Gd a week, or not leas than 17s ft day, with a further 17s for any Sunday they are required to work at mustering. Packers shall receive not less than X 3 7s 6d a week, or 15a 6d a day. Mußterera and packers required to do enow-raking ahull receive £1 5s a day, while engaged in such work. Youths learning mustering, in addition to board and lodgiijg, in the first, year shall he paid JEL 10s a week. In the 'eeoond year they shall bo paid £2 a week. Must-orers required to travel more than 10 miles to a station, are to be paid one day's pay as travelling allowance, drovers £1 Is a day and all necessary expenses. The award is not to apply to any worker employed regularly as a farm or station hand who assists in mustering or packing. A number of stock and station agents is included in the list of parties to the awmd, but such agents tvkl be bound by the award only when contracting as principals.
