MISCELLANEOUS CABLES.
At the inquest oil Mrs Pawson, an elderly woman who was found; dead in the house where she lived! alone at Yalloum (New South Wales) her son-in-law, Albert Barber, was committed for trial. The police evidence showed that tho place had been ransacked, not for vgjuqtbles, hut for information of the whereabouts of Barber's wife, who liad left him.
