Rotary was not in existence when he last toured Ameriea, and while adding to his list in New Zealand he hopes considerably to inerease the number when he next tours the States. Mr 1\ G. Twiss, well known in business and musical circles in Wellington, has left for Nelson to entar into partnership with Mr E. B. Jackson, sharebroker, in that city. Mr Twiss has been prominently associated for many veara with the Wellington Operatic Society, and was an original member and vice-president of the Wellington Savage Club. Air J. T. Wylie, the well-known Auckland footballer, who visited California with the 191 i» All Black team, and remained as a student at Leland Stanford is now district supervisor for the California Fruitgrowers' Association, with jurisdiction over the rich Santa Clara Valley. Mr H. W. Maloney. of the staff of Stanford University," who passed through Auckland by the R.M.S. Makura this week, stated that Mr Wylie was now well established in the State, and was proving remarkably successful in his profession.
