"I thought you wero someone else. I am sorry I liifc you.. with the axe." This apology was tendered to a Sydney man the other day, by a man who had struck him on the head with an axe. The assailant and a woman with him disappeared. The injured man was taken to the hospital and t-hres stitches were inserted in wounds on his head. He explained that while on his way home he felt tired, and, sitting on the step in front of a house, stayed there a few 'minutes. Suddenly the front door was opened, and the man attacked him.
