PALXTEBSTOpv KORTH. September 16. Arising out of the enquiry conducted by the Sanawatu Boxing Association into irrejuiariEes in the McCabe v. de Cleene b~ut on August 23rd at Palmerston North, tho occasion of the fight between. Brown and Ciinton for a ilOi) purse, the Wellington Centre has notified that the following decisions must be carried. out pending consideration by the New Zealand Council: B. de Cleene and C. McKnight (registered amateurs) suspended; J. Fletcher and A. Steer (members of the Hanawatu Boxing Association) to be advised that their participation -in the alleged irregularities is discreditable; F. Potbury and A. Chota (non members) suspended; D. Armstrong, B. Brown, 1\ T; Boy and J. W. Toeer (also non-members) warned that a repetition of the conduct complained of will prohibit them trom, attendance ai any boxing contest.
