INTERESTING FIND AT TITAHI BAY.
- AN ECHO OF THE 'SEVENTIES. While engaged on fencing his_ section at Titahi Bay recently; a Wellington business man made a strange discovery. At a depth of three feet he came across an o.d biscuit box containing a number of empty bottles .vrappea in an issue of the London 'Times" dated July, 1870. Curious to relate, the collection included a half empty bottle of Baxter's Lung PreserPresumably the sit© had been used as a camping-ground by Imperial troops, though the finder is not certain on this ooint, it being generally understood that the soldiers were quartered nearer Paremata. However, this incident goes to that even in those bygone days the sterling worth of "Baxter's" as a cough and cold remedy was fullv appreciated. Ever since 1869 "Baxter's" .has been giving gratifying relief to all sufferers from throat, chest, and lung troubles.
