FULLERS' OPERA HOUSE.
new first part.
Practically a new firat part was put on at the Opera House bust night. Several new artist# who should have arrived in time to appear at the weekly change on Monday night were delayed ,in transit,' and only reached town yesterday. Among the new people, were Marcus and D'Arma, who .presented a double musical sketch turn. The Betting represented a backwoods camp, and the turn was made-up of a certain quota of dialogue and ft full measure of what proved to be most enjoyable musical items. Both the man nnd the lady had nice, tuneful voices, and the man played the accompaniments himself, either on a portable harmonium, which formed part" of the camp : equipment, or on a dulcitone. Two duets, "Wannah,". .and • "Back.. to Home, Sweet Home," were the leading numbers. Mr Waters, a ventriloquist, appeared in military garb, and worked with a lay figure also clad in regimentals, but of a ; much loAer degree. The patter related to camp life, and contained many good comedy passages. The big feature of the performance, 'however, was a demonstration of- ventriloquial singing, which was splendidly effected. Two oomedy entertainers, the Dainty Dudleys, also appeared for the first time, and presented a pleasing turn' of patter and song. The other performers in the first part, and the George Storey Kevue, in- the second part, completed a programme which appeared to enjoy the full approbation, of another .crowded house. .
Tlie programme, as amended last night will be repeated this evening.
