ADDINGTON BURGESSES.
At tho monthly meeting of tie Addingfcon Burgesses Association there were present: Jlcbsm F. Mathieson (president), W. L. Brown (secretary), E. Paris.no (treasurer), G. Herd, T. Tilleyshort, W. Hepburn, W. Hartigan, H. Henwood, E. Pritchard, G. Colvillo, T. Falkindcr, Vt. Pickering, W. Bettxidge, H. Grammar, and S. J. Park. The Addington Rugby League Football Club wrote asking for support in approaching the City Council -to have & dressing shed erected on the Jerrold street reserve. A deputation was appointed consisting of Messrs E. Parlane, f T. J?illeyshort, and F. Mathieson to wait on Jlr Hindlo in reference to rounding off th« corner of his section at Jerrold street and Lincoln road. It was resolved to write to tho Chief Postmaster in the matter of having a stamp vendin? machine placed in the vicinity of the Addington Post Offico. It was decided to grant £1 Is to t'ho Addington Amateur Swimming Club bath improvement fund. It was agreed: that a letter from the City Council objecting to football being played on the Jenold street reserve on Sundayß be held over until next meeting.
