ST. JOHN AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION.
The monthly meeting of the committee of the St. John Ambulance Association was held last night, when Mr J. A. Flesher presided. The chairman reported that the proceeds of the general appeal amounted to £677 4s 6d, as against £032 12s last year. Thi3 was a most satisfactory result. Voles of thanks to all who helped were •passed. It was reported that the credit balances were:—Current account, £673 14s 6d; fixed deposits, £l3lO 18s sd.
