PAPARUA RACE. The Papairua fifteen-mile rac3 was run efc Ricoarton racecourse on Saturday afternoon, on tha carriage drive, six times round. There were fifty-three staiters. Results:— H. W. DARFIELD ROAD RACE. A road race of twenty-five miles wea decided under the auspices of tie Darfield Athletic Sports Association on Saturday afternoon. Twenty-three riders loon part. The result was: G. W. Fcebble (3m), lhr 25m 20s 1 B. £.mdge (6m), lhr 28m 35s "3 J. Redmond (sm), lhr 27m 368.. "3 Fastest tima was s.-cured by C. Bell from scratch, lhr 24m 30s.
