! (fbess association* telegram.) AUCKLAND, September 27. Negotiations are practically complete for the establishment at of a big Yale telescope and observatory equipment. Yesterday an eight-inch testing telescope was landed for the final experiments, whicli axe expected to occupy j a few months. Negotiations have been in progress for several months between the Auek- ' land City Council and the Yale authorities, and have now reached a state warranting a definite announcement.
