(spzcul to "thi PE«aa.") TIMAItU, September '/?. The TimanT Floral Society opened their spring flower show in the Wesley Hall this afternoon. The display was quite up to the usual standard. There was a very good attendance of the public. The decorative, section, as apart from the competitive, received afair share of support, and in this class particular mention can be made of the fine effect pro. duced by the exhibits sent in by Mrs P. A. Elworthy and Mr J. Scobie. The children's classes have been fairly well patronised, ana the domestic side of tne show ha« not been neglected. The- prize list is as fohows:— CUT FLOWERS.
