(bx cable—press association— copyright.) (AUSTRALIAN • AND HZ. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) - PEKING, August 30. The "North China Daily News" states that the Revs. R. A. Whiteside and F. J. Watt, belonging to the Church Missionary Society, Were murdered on Sept-ember 14th, by bandits, near Mien-Choo, in the Szechuen province. A Shanghai message says it is reported from ,Mien-chau-fu thait the Revs. W.. A. Whyteside and F. O. Wiitt, missionaries of the Church Missionary Society, wore killed by bandits while travelling on August 14th.
