Tallott, who was voted to the chnir i in tlio absence of Mr F. Horrell. in "Welling--1 ton. On the motion of Cr. Ormandy, it waa re- ' wived to levy a. general rate of three-farthingß | in tho £ in tb/2 Rangiora riding, and a halfi penny in the £ in the Cust riding on tha | capital value of properties ' it was decided to purchase emnll birds' i heads at Gd per dozen, and egga at 2d por 1 dozen, in addition' to supplying poisoned! j grain free of charge. !
