A NEW MAGISTRATE.
MR H. P. LAWRY, OF REEFTON. (spacux. to "not rnn,") GREYMOUTH, July 12. Although the appointment is not yet officially confirmed, it is understood that Mr H. P. Lawry, a well-known Reefton solicitor, has been appointed Magistrate for the Buller district, in successibn to Mr T. E. Maunsell, S.M. Mr Lawry has been practising in Reefton for some years. The appointment will enable Mr W. Meldrum, S.M., who has been carrying on the work of both his own and the Buller district, to give undivided attention ttf the West Coast.
