(Received July 9th, 8.16 p.m.) . v LONDON. July 8. John Clark was sentenced to five years' imprisonment for fraudulently obtaining, money from Mrs Hill. [John Clark was charged with obtain£3 from Mrs 'Hill. It was alleged that Clark called on her saying that he was'a lawyer, and had received word from a relative in New Zealand wdio had left her £2750. Bho has an uncle in New Zealand, so, believing the story, parted with £3 as a fee.] i
