It was moved by Commissioner G. Lancaster, Christ-church, that delegates appointed to the Advisory Committee bo-permitted to appoint deputies to present them should circumstances' maice it impossible tor their attendance. This was seconded by Mr L. AI. Isitt, ancl carried. It was decided that the matter of the appointment of auditors to the Association bo left in the bands of the Executive Committee with power to act. A hearty .vote of thanks was accorded to the "general secretary, Major W. E. S. Furby, and Hiss A. Eulogistic remarks recardintt their work were also made by the Commissioners from Auckland, Palmerston North. Gisborne, and Wellington.—The motion was carried by acclamation.
