CASUALTIES.
An eleven-year-old boy, Herman Dunlop, son of the licensee of the Imperial Hotel, Christehurch, received a severe wash on his foot "while playing with a trolley on a wharf at Lyttelton yes turdav. He was attended by Dr. C. 11. Lphani, who put in seven stitches, the boy being later conveyed to his home. During a football match at -Akaroa yesterday bet-ween Albion and a local team, a" resident of the Bays named Armstrong, who had consented to play in order to fill a vacancy in the team, had his shoulder broken.
(pItZSS ASSOCIATION TBLEGEAM.) GLSBOENE, April 2. While playing with a young boy at her home at'Motuhora, a three-year-old girl named Patricia Grantham was shot by the lad with a pea-riilc. 'The boy, who did not know the rifle was loaded, pointed it at the girl and pulled the trigger, the bullet penetrating her cheat. Alexander Wilson, a stock buyer, ar'ed 4", committed suicide in a private ho-pita! by lumping himself from a chain !ixed above his fced. He had been in bad health for some time and was 'nervous and despondent. He was a married man. Robert Eo?s At Gregor. 5J years of age, fell under a moving train. His foot wa s partially severed. He was admitted to hospital where he is in a serious condition.
