RIFLE AND SOCIAL CLUB.
The Crown Brewery Biflo *nd Social Club hold thoir annual meeting on Monday night Mr J?. D. Mears being- in, the ohair. The baliince-sheet, which showed a credit balance of £ll, was adopted. The chairman congratulated tli» Club on winning the senior competition, and also tho Goodhart Cup in the Christchuicli Miniature Rifle Association winter touroamont. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Hon. 0. Louisaon.; vioe-patron, Mr Sloman; pnsident, Mi Mears; vic«-presidents, Dr. Louisson, Messrs A. Louisson, C. Louiuapn, E. Boulton, Hasoll, Pickering, White, Collings, and Hall; captain, Mr J. Hawkins, vice-captain, Mr A. Halmshaw; secretary and treasurer, Mr H. Master; handicapper, M? L. Pimm; coaches, Messrs Halmshaw, Pimm, and Dockery; delegate to Christchurch Miniature Rifle Association, Mr L. Pimm; committee, captain and vice-captß,in, Messrs Dockery, Davison, -Batt, Edwards, Stokes, Pimm, Hall, and Hadley. It was decided to give £5 5s to the Christchurch Miniature Riflo Association, and to hold at least four card tournaments during tho winter months. The opening night was fired for April 9th, when a match will be fired between teams to bo picked by the president and captain, the losing team to provide supper.
